Websites for Dog Groomers, by Lord Knows ยท Last updated 10 June 2026
"We/us" means Adam Lord, a sole trader trading as Lord Knows, of Espace North Business Centre, 181 Wisbech Road, Littleport, Ely, Cambridgeshire CB6 1RA โ the web design service behind websitesfordoggroomers.co.uk. "You" means the grooming business signing up. These terms are a business-to-business agreement.
A professionally designed one-page website tailored to your business, including: your domain name, hosting, SSL certificate, email-link setup, and up to 20 minutes of content updates each month (prices, opening hours, photo swaps, adding a review), carried out within 3 working days of your request. Unused minutes don't roll over. Bigger changes (new sections, extra pages, redesigns) are quoted up front before any work starts.
The service costs ยฃ39 per month (or ยฃ390 per year), collected by Direct Debit through GoCardless. You're protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. Nothing is collected until you've approved your draft site. Prices can change with 30 days' written notice โ you're free to cancel before any change takes effect.
We build your draft free of charge from the details you give us, including one round of revisions. When you're happy and your Direct Debit is active, we register your domain and put the site live. Setting up your Direct Debit confirms your acceptance of these terms.
No minimum term. Cancel anytime by email or by cancelling your Direct Debit; the service ends at the close of the period you've paid for, and the website is then taken offline. If a payment fails, we'll let you know and retry; if it remains unpaid after 14 days, the site may be suspended until it's settled.
Your domain name is yours. It's registered in your business's name, and if you leave we'll transfer it to you (or your new provider) free of charge. The website design, code and artwork remain ours โ they're licensed to you while your subscription is active, not sold. Your photos, logo, reviews and text remain yours, and we'll return copies on request.
You confirm that everything you give us to publish โ photos, reviews, qualifications, claims like "fully insured" โ is genuine, accurate, and yours to use (including the dog owners' OK for photos). You're responsible for the accuracy of your business information, and you agree to cover us if a third party brings a claim about content you supplied.
We host with reputable third-party providers and aim for the site to be available at all times, but no host can promise 100% uptime and we can't accept liability for short outages, third-party failures, or things outside our control. If something breaks, we'll fix it as quickly as we reasonably can.
We're a small, careful business, and our liability to you is capped at the total fees you've paid us in the 12 months before any claim. We're not liable for indirect losses such as lost bookings, lost profits or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
We may update these terms from time to time โ material changes will be emailed to you with 30 days' notice. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales.
